Scope of Work As a senior member of the Information Security team, this role supports the Head of Information Security in managing information security risks within North Oil Company.   The primary focus of the role is Enterprise information security, with exposure to Industrial Control Systems security across a broad range of governance and technical activities. Main accountabilities include:
  • Control and definition of information security practices (e.g Antivirus, Patching etc.) and operations by different IT entities
  • Conduct risk assessments and co-ordinate remediation activities

Field Operations

Scope of Work

This role will be situated in the Field Operations Department and will report to Lead Maintenance Coordinator. The main functions of the role will be the following:
  • Drive an Incident Free environment through establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture
  • Responsible for ensuring positive HSE performance by personnel, contractors and others working under the guidance of the Lead Maintenance Coordinator.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, company standards and procedures under the area of responsibility to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance and responsible environmental attitude.
  • Provide first level specialist technical advice and guidance to site/offshore personnel on the maintenance of static mechanical equipment, root cause analysis and investigations where required involving maintenance coordinators.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the site base operations; preparation of scopes of work for short term interventions, organization of vendors, supply direct support to site requests (vendors, spare parts, tooling, technical procedures, work packs and work order resourcing).

  • Ensures that the appropriate responsibility is assigned to the Lead Engineer and/or discipline Engineer, along with all the required information;
  • Ensures that the weekly Maintenance and Inspection meetings regarding Modifications are defined and facilitated according to the identified objectives and priorities;
  • Ensure that the appropriate technical evaluation is completed by the relevant technically competent persons with in Maintenance Engineering and where there is a deviation the Technical Responsible Person.

  • Ensure that any cancelled modifications are communicated and recycled with the Originator/Owners of the Modification, and for those that have been deferred, ensure they are kept at the right level of visibility in the process/registers.

Profile Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline is prefered, with recognized training in project management, although it is recognised that demonstrable experience in multidiscipline activities is very important.
  • Minimum 20 years of relevant Oil and Gas industry experience, in an Operating Asset, with demonstrable Project Engineering and management of multiple small to medium size Project experience, with a strong understanding of and experience in Safetyand Quality management systems and Project Controls.
  • This role requires an experienced, motivated Management of Change specialist for Facility Modifications, with the ability to represent Maintenance and Inspection and Field Operations to drive best practices, standards, capabilities and functionally represent Management of Change (MoC) process for Maintenace and Inspection NOC, aligning the business unit practices with corporate requirements. The role calls for a strong background in technical assessment, definition, interface management, collaboration, assurance and project engineering of offshore changes and/or modifications.
  • The ideal candidate applies his knowledge of project management, engineering, construction, contract management and project delivery principles, practices and techniques and shall possess the following key skill sets:
    • Knowledgeable in project management, project execution and the application of the stage gate process with particular emphasis on small project delivery;

Accountabilities

Provide Al Shaheen  production optimization & operations experience, direction and guidance to the NOC production & well performance team in order to maximize production and injection performance. This position contributes significantly and directly to the field’s ability to meet production budget target through the identification of short term and long term opportunities to improve production performance and well potential, and ensuring Field Ops team is competent in the optimization of the wells whilst ensuring that wells are operating under their operational envelops. The well performance engineer keep the well models up to date and monitor, diagnose and propose solutions for well issues. It is also accountable for the well potential. This position is also in permanent contact with NOC-OC in order to contribute to optimize the production or do some adjustments to the production and injection priority to reach the daily targets. The position is accountable for the continuous well diagnostics and the liaise with reservoir and well services teams in order to propose actions and solutions. The position is in front line on the start-up, clean up and performance evaluation of the new wells.

Corporate Planning & Development

Scope of Work The Conceptual Engineering team’s purpose is to carry out discipline studies supporting Petroleum Architects and CPD in general to elaborate and mature developments. The team also provides support to Field Ops. The Principal Process Engineer will perform daily process engineering activities to a conceptual level. This includes performing simulations, carrying out equipment sizing, report writing, input into future development decisions and to function as a study focal point as required. As a Principal member of the team, the job holder shall also perform interface communication with other departments in support of daily process engineering activities, provide guidance and feedback to junior engineers in the conceptual engineering department and be familiar with NOC technical standards in understanding and their application.   Activities HSE:
